Beeple's NFT artwork has been auctioned at Christie's auction for 13.25 million U.S. dollars

2021/3/11

At the auction held by the British auction house Christie’s, the current bid for the NFT artwork created by the surreal artist Beeple is as high as 13.25 million US dollars, and the number of bids reached 165. There are about 14 hours left before the end of the auction. Beeple has created one painting every day since May 2007 and has accumulated 5,000 pieces, so the name of the auction work is "Everydays: The First 5000 Days", and the starting price of the painting is 100 US dollars. This auction is the first time that a traditional auction house provides pure digital art (NFT format) based on blockchain technology, and for the first time accepts the use of Ethereum to pay the principal, and the premium is paid in U.S. dollars.
