Bitcoin mining company Stronghold raises $105 million to convert waste coal into encrypted mining power

Stronghold Digital Mining, a Bitcoin mining company based in Pennsylvania, USA, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $105 million in funding through two private placements. The company said it plans to use US$105 million in funding to further fund recovery efforts in Pennsylvania, purchase crypto mining hardware, and convert waste coal into electricity for mining Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
