The PN8149WSC-A2 is a power management chip for the Antminer APW17 power supply, packaged in an SOP-12 package. It integrates a quasi-resonant current-mode controller and power MOSFETs and is specifically designed for high-performance AC-DC switching power supplies, requiring simplified external components. The PN8149 offers comprehensive, intelligent protection features, including over-temperature protection, output overvoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, output open- or short-circuit protection, secondary rectifier short-circuit protection, and overload protection.
