Bridge Rectifier

Two or four rectifier silicon chips usually connect the bridge rectifier, two are half-bridges, and four are called full bridges. The exterior is encapsulated with insulating plastic, and the high-power bridge rectifier is encapsulated with a zinc metal shell outside the insulating layer to enhance the heat dissipation performance.

As a kind of power component, the bridge rectifier is very extensive. Used in various power supply equipment.

The bridge rectifier generally has a large enough inductive load, so the bridge rectifier does not appear current intermittent. In general bridge rectifier applications, smoothing reactors are often connected to the load end so that the load can be regarded as a constant current source.

The type of rectifier transformer can be divided into traditional multi-pulse transformer rectifier and auto-coupling multi-pulse transformer rectifier. The traditional multi-pulse transformer rectifier uses an isolation transformer to isolate the input voltage and output voltage. Still, the equivalent capacity of the rectifier transformer is large, and the volume is vast.
