Troubleshooting for the Antminer S19K pro ASIC chip low hash rate

The log shows that the 7th chip’s hash rate of chain 1 hash board is abnormal during the operation of Antminer s19k pro miner. The hash rate of chip 7 is detected to be 795 for the first time, 832 for the second time, 818 for the third time, and 758 for the fourth time. The normal hash value is generally around 850. (Note: the chip number starts from 0).

Due to the low hash rate of chip No. 7, the hash board fails and the miner stops starting.

Troubleshooting:

1. The log has clearly shown that the hash rate of chip No. 7 of chain 1 hash board is low. We disassemble the hash board and use a magnifying glass to check the pins of chip No. 7. Low hash rate may be caused by poor soldering. If there is a poor soldering, we can use a heating table and flux oil to solder the chip pins. After soldering, install it to the miner and check the miner log. If it is not repaired, replace the BM1366 ASIC chip for Antminer s19 kpro.

2. There is another reason that causes the hash of chip No. 7 to be abnormal. LDO failure can also cause the chip hash rate to be low. Check whether the voltage of the 5th pin of the two LDO chips in the domain where chip No. 7 is located is 1.2V and 0.8V. If there is an abnormality, check the input voltage of pins 1 and 3 of LDO. If the input voltage of pins 1 and 3 is fine, replace the LDO chip. If the input voltage is abnormal, you need to continue to check the domain voltage of the corresponding domain and the resistance value of the LDO connection. Whether the resistance value is abnormal, refer to the normal value.
