Power relay GI-1A-12D is used to replace faulty components on the Avalon power supply, Whatsminer M10 power supply, to ensure the power supply can work normally, at the same time, it provides maximum power distribution and maximizes your energy consumption. The relay has three subsystems: contact, magnetic, and mechanical assembly. The magnetic system includes a coil, iron core, yoke, armature, and return spring. Power relays use electromagnetic coils to open or close circuits for seamless power flow. The electromagnet will attract the armature if the relay is normally open when energized.
This PCB through-hole relay features a 4-pin design, a rated current of 10A, and a rated voltage of 250VAC. Its compact size allows for direct soldering onto the mining rig power supply PCB, making it widely used in ASIC power supply troubleshooting.
When the GI-1A-12DH relay on the Avalon/Whatsminer M10 power supply malfunctions, common symptoms include the miner failing to power on, no power output, intermittent startup, and random power supply tripping. Under prolonged high-load operation in a mining farm, the contacts may burn out, stick together, or become open-circuited.

Important notes:
1. Before soldering and replacing the relay, please confirm the coil drive voltage; incorrect voltage will cause the new relay to burn out immediately.
2. Thoroughly clean the PCB pads to remove any carbon residue left from burned-out old relay contacts.
3. After soldering and replacing, perform a power-on test without connecting the hash board to verify the power output status.
4. Dust in the mining environment accelerates relay contact aging; regular inspection of the power supply unit is recommended.
