SCS210AM SiC Schottky Barrier Diode
The SCS210AM is a 650V 10A silicon carbide Schottky diode, a dedicated freewheeling diode for the PFC boost circuit of mining rigs. It works in conjunction with a PFC MOSFET and boost inductor to achieve boost freewheeling, stably outputting a 400V high-voltage bus to provide clean high voltage for the subsequent LLC circuit. It is compatible with Antminer APW3++, APW12, and Avalon PSU3300-03 series high-power ASIC mining rig power supplies, ensuring the entire machine can stably run at full load and maximize its hash rate.
When the SiC diode experiences forward open circuit, increased reverse leakage, or complete breakdown and short-circuit, mild leakage degradation can cause a significant surge in the full-load temperature of the power supply, high-frequency whistling from the chassis, irregular fluctuations in the mining machine's hashrate, frequent high-temperature frequency reduction, and intermittent disconnections and restarts. Severe reverse breakdown and shoot-through can instantly pull down the bus voltage, trigger the power input overcurrent protection, directly blow the input fuse, and burn out the PFC high-voltage MOSFET, drive resistor, and PFC control chip.
