JCS12N65FT N-channel MOSFET adopts advanced trench technology, suitable for high-efficiency switch mode power supply, Electronic lamp ballast based on half-bridge, LED power supplies and other power switch management.
The JCS12N65FT 650V 12A high-voltage N-channel MOSFET is the switching transistor in the PFC boost circuit of the Whatsminer P221C and P222C 3300W power supplies. It ensures stable full-load hashrate output for M30 and M31 series ASIC miners, improves power factor, and reduces overall heat loss.
After a JCS12N65FT failure, the P221C/P222C immediately blows its AC input fuse upon power-up, resulting in a complete lack of 400V high voltage, preventing the miner from powering on, and causing overheating and shutdown. A severe short circuit can also burn out the PFC drive resistor, driver chip, and paired boost diode; the high-voltage area of the power supply PCB may become blackened; and even damage the hash board's powering circuit.
