The ME6212C12M5G is a highly accurate, low noise, CMOS LDO voltage regulator. Offering low output noise, high ripple rejection ratio, low dropout and very fast turn-on times, the ME6212 series is ideal for today’s cutting-edge mobile phone. Internally the ME6212 includes a reference voltage source, error amplifiers, driver transistors, current limiters and phase compensators. The ME6212’s current limiters' foldback circuit also operates as short protection for the output current limiter. the output pin, is also fully compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitors, reducing cost and improving output stability. This high level of output stability is maintained even during frequent load fluctuations, due to the excellent transient response performance and high PSRR achieved across a broad range of frequencies. The CE function allows the output of the regulator to be turned off, resulting in greatly reduced power consumption.
The ME6212C12M5G is a commonly used 1.2V high-precision, low-dropout linear regulator chip in S19Pro Hydro and S19XP+ Hydro hash boards. Rated at 250~350mA output, it primarily provides a stable 1.2V low-voltage power supply with low noise and fast transient response for the hash board's signal sampling circuit, logic control unit, I2C communication reference, and detection amplification circuit, ensuring accurate digital signal transmission and stable operation of the computational logic. When the chip malfunctions, it will exhibit abnormal overheating, fluctuating output voltage, and significantly increased power supply ripple. This leads to a slow decay of the hash rate, incomplete ASIC chip enumeration, intermittent offline identification anomalies of the hash board, and, in the event of an open circuit failure, directly cutting off the 1.2V reference power supply. The entire hash board will then be unrecognizable by the miner's main controller, and the hash rate will drop to zero.
