AW37030D120STR is a low dropout voltage regulator featuring low ON resistance, high PSRR, low noise, good load/line transient response and smooth soft-start. It integrates current limit, short circuit protection, thermal shutdown, sufficiently protecting IC from being damaged.
The AW37030D120STR is a 1.2V high-precision LDO regulator chip on the Antminer hash board, rated for 300mA output. It is specifically designed to provide a stable 1.2V low-voltage reference power supply for the hash board's sampling operational amplifier, logic control unit, signal reference circuit, and communication detection module, ensuring stable digital signal transmission and a constant chip reference voltage. When this LDO chip fails, it will directly cause a short circuit to ground in the 1.2V power supply branch, triggering a rapid overcurrent protection lock-up upon power-up, causing power failure of back-end logic and sampling components, preventing the hash board from being recognized by the control board, and resulting in no hash rate output from the entire device.
