AP431SAN1TR-G1 Adjustable Precision Shunt Regulators
The AP431SAN1TR-G1 is a 3-terminal adjustable shunt regulator with guaranteed thermal stability over the entire operating range. Its sharp turn-on characteristics, low temperature coefficient, and low output impedance make it an ideal replacement for Zener diodes in applications such as switching power supplies, chargers, and other adjustable regulators. The AP431SAN1TR has a low minimum cathode current for regulation, and a typical value of 50µA makes the device ideal for applications with very low power consumption. The output voltage of the AP431SAN1TR-G1 can be set to any value between VREF (2.5V) and the corresponding maximum cathode voltage (36V). Two levels of initial voltage tolerance are available at +25°C, 0.5% and 1%. This IC is available in package SOT23. Usually used as a repair spare for the Antminer T17 hash board.
The AP431SAN1TR-G1, silkscreened with GCC, is a high-precision three-terminal adjustable parallel voltage regulator reference chip in an SOT-23-3 package. It is widely used in the DC-DC feedback loop of the Antminer S17 series hash board, working with voltage divider resistors to stabilize and lock the 12V main output voltage and various low-voltage power supplies. When it fails, it causes the power feedback loop to become uncontrolled, resulting in a continuous surge in output voltage, overvoltage, chip open-circuit failure, a significant drop in output voltage, a collapse in power supply load capacity, repeated restarts of the miner, inability of the hash board to power on and recognize data, and overall power supply disorder.
