JS65R130FU N-channel FET has low gate charge and low Crss (typical value 4.5pF), fast switching speed, suitable for power supply repair and chip replacement of ASIC miners.
The JS65R130FU is a 650V low-resistance PFC boost MOSFET, a core switching element in the power factor correction circuit of the Whatsminer P21D power supply. By reducing conduction losses and improving the power factor, it provides a stable high-voltage input to the subsequent inverter circuit, ensuring the stable output of the Whatsminer ASIC miner at full load and its rated hashrate.
When the JS65R130FU power MOSFET fails, the miner power supply is highly susceptible to burning out the input fuse, resulting in no output, short-term overheating under full load leading to shutdown, frequent restarts, and in severe cases, burnt-out drive resistors and drive chips, carbonization and blackening of the power area on the power PCB, and a noticeable burnt odor.
