The T451 is a WSON-8 packaged I2C/SMBus local + remote dual-channel digital temperature sensor, widely used in Antminer S17, T17, L7, and Z15 series ASIC hash boards. It can collect the PN junction temperature of the hash board and ASIC chip, and upload the temperature data to the main controller via the I2C bus. It relies on the ALERT alarm pin to perform fan speed control, high-temperature frequency reduction, and over-temperature board lockout protection, ensuring the safe operation of the computing chip. When it malfunctions, the following faults may occur: erratic temperature readings, falsely high or low values, false high-temperature reports from the miner, frequent frequency reduction, and I2C communication failures causing the control board to fail to recognize the temperature sensor, continuously displaying temperature control errors, and intermittent offline status of the hash board.
