The TMP75 is a TI-manufactured I2C digital temperature sensor compatible with the LM75 protocol. It is widely used in Antminer S21 and S19 series hash boards, accurately collecting real-time temperature data from multiple points on the board. Relying on the I2C bus, it transmits the temperature data to the main controller. With programmable temperature control thresholds and alarm pins, it manages fan speed adjustment, high-temperature frequency throttling, and over-temperature board lockout protection, ensuring stable operation of the ASIC chip. When the chip malfunctions, symptoms may include erratic temperature readings, persistently high or low readings, accidental high-temperature frequency throttling by the miner, fluctuating hash rates, the hash board failing to recognize the temperature sensor, and frequent temperature control error messages.
