Product description

BK820 series DC brushless fan speed tachometers BK820A, BK820C, and BK820D are used to test DC fan speed. It is equipped with a color touch screen(BK820A expect) to display current, voltage, and power easily. Easy to use, connect the fan to the tester to test the speed.

Attention: BK820A and BK820C have been discontinued, and BK820D will be shipped by default. Please select the power cord plug when purchasing this product. We will give you an International universal socket adapter for free according to your choice.

BK820D fan speed tester features:

• The product has reliable performance, the shell is made of aluminum alloy, and the size is 300X150X140mm.

• The product has reliable performance a 4.3-inch color touch screen, except for the voltage value, which needs to be set by pressing the button, all other parameters are set on the touch screen.

• Built-in 0-53V programmable power supply, which can easily set any voltage value. When the load changes, this power supply will adjust the voltage to keep the same as the set voltage.

• Easy to use, just connect the fan to the tester to test the speed, with fan polarity reverse connection and short circuit protection functions.

• Speed, current, voltage, and power display can be used alone as a programmable DC power supply.

• DC fan test: can test 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire PWM, and brushless fans with FG and RD signals.

• AC fan test: use the infrared sensor head to test; there is no need to make any labels on the fan during the test; it can accurately test the speed.

• PWM output, divided into automatic/manual control, manual 0-100% duty cycle adjustable, automatic divided into four sections, each section of the duty cycle can be adjusted, and each section of the speed is displayed separately. 2, 3, and 4 sections can be set on and off separately. The interval time of each section can be set arbitrarily from 1 to 99 seconds. The PWM output voltage can be selected from 5V or 3.3V. The output frequency can be selected from "25KHz, 2KHz, 1KHz, 200Hz, 100Hz, 50Hz".

• FG pull-up selection: you can choose internal pull-up, external pull-up, or no pull-up.

• Maximum and minimum speed limits can be set. If the limit is exceeded, the horn alarm will sound. If it is qualified, the display will be PASS.

• Automatically judge the speed and current. If it is qualified, the display will be: "PASS."

• AC fan test: requires a separate infrared sensor head test, no need to make any label on the fan during the test, can accurately test the speed.

• Reliable product performance, the shell is made of aluminum alloy, and the size is 355X200X155mm.

• Reliable product performance, 7-inch color touch screen, resolution 1024X600, except for the voltage value, which needs to be set by pressing the button, all other parameters are set on the touch screen.

• Built-in 0-53V5A programmable power supply can easily set any voltage value. When the load changes, this power supply will adjust the voltage to keep the same as the set voltage.

• Built-in oscilloscope function, current waveform and FG signal waveform can be displayed at the same time, current waveform voltage 50mA100mA, 200mA, 500mA, 1000mA five gears are optional. FG waveform voltage 1.0V, 2.0V, 5.0V, 10V four gears are optional. Time 250us, 500us, 1.0ms, 2.5ms, 5ms, 10ms six gears are optional.

Precautions:

1) If you are testing an AC fan, please use an external AC power supply. If you are using an infrared head to test a DC fan, you can power the fan from output 2 for testing. If you find that it cannot be tested, please check whether the connection line of input 1 is an open circuit (this connection line is not under warranty). If it is an open circuit, please refer to the input introduction to connect it yourself. It is best to connect it from connection 2 to the fixture for testing.

2) In the 3-wire PWM mode, there is no FG signal. Because it is a current detection method, when the PWM duty cycle is very small, the current signal also becomes very small. When testing some types of fans, the test may not be possible. Or the tested speed is inaccurate. We do not guarantee that all models of fans can be fully tested in this mode.

3) There is a high voltage inside. Non-professionals are strictly prohibited from disassembling the casing. Otherwise, they will be responsible for the consequences.
