The TLV75512PDRVR is an ultra-small, low quiescent current, low dropout regulator (LDO) that provides 500mA with good circuit and load transient performance. It supports an input voltage range of 1.45V to 5.5V and provides a fixed output voltage of 1.2V to support the lower core voltages of modern microcontrollers (MCUs). The TLV755P has a low IQ and enables features to minimize standby power consumption. It also has an internal soft-start feature that reduces inrush current, providing a controlled voltage to the load and minimizing input voltage drop during startup.

The TLV75512PDR is a 1.2V high-precision LDO regulator chip on the Antminer hash board, specifically designed to provide a stable and clean 1.2V low-voltage power supply for the board's logic chips, sampling reference circuits, and signal conditioning modules. Degraded device performance can cause a short circuit to ground in the 1.2V power supply branch, triggering a rapid overcurrent protection lock-up upon power-up. The logic chips will fail directly due to lack of power, the hash board will be unrecognizable by the control board, the entire machine will have no hash output, the hash rate will fluctuate frequently and drastically, and the miner will intermittently restart and reduce its frequency. Prolonged abnormal voltage can also continuously damage the precision logic chips at the back end, leading to widespread component failure.
