The TL494CDR device integrates on a single chip all the functions required to build pulse width modulation (PWM) control circuits, commonly used in power supply control circuits. It contains two error amplifiers, an on-chip adjustable oscillator, a dead time control (DTC) comparator, a pulse steering control flip-flop, a 5V, 5% accuracy regulator, and output control circuitry. The device offers push-pull or single-ended output operation, selectable through the output control feature.
