OSG55R140FF Enhancement Mode N-Channel Power MOSFET
The OSG55R140FF high voltage MOSFET utilizes charge balance technology to achieve outstanding low on-resistance and lower gate charge. It is engineered to minimize conduction loss, provide superior switching performance and robust avalanche capability.
It is tailored for high power density applications to meet the highest efficiency standards.
The OSG55R140F is a 550V high-voltage power MOSFET in the PFC boost circuit of the ASIC miner power supply. It is responsible for the boost switch of the bus after rectification, providing basic high-voltage support for the subsequent conversion circuit and hash board powering. When this MOSFET fails, mild aging and deterioration will cause a significant increase in the full-load temperature rise of the power supply, continuous high-frequency internal whistling, and intermittent restarts and offline operation. Severe DS short circuit will instantly blow the input fuse, directly triggering the overcurrent protection upon power-up and locking up the 12V output, making the whole machine unable to start. Prolonged power-on will also burn the PCB copper foil and cause surrounding components to carbonize and smoke.
