The TLP5772 comprises an infrared LED and an integrated high-gain, high-speed photodetector. It is mainly used for maintenance of the APW11, APW12, and APW17 power supplies.
The TLP5772 is 50 % smaller than the 8-pin DIP package and meets the reinforced insulation class requirements of international safety standards. Therefore, the mounting area can be reduced in equipment requiring safety standard certification.
The TLP5772 has an internal faraday shield that provides a guaranteed common-mode transient immunity of ±35 kV/µs. In particular, this photocoupler guarantees operation with a low threshold input current. It allows a bufferless direct drive from a microcomputer. In addition, the TLP5772 has rail-to-rail output, enabling stable operation and better switching performance in the system.
The TLP5772 is an APW17, APW11, or APW12 power-isolated gate-drive optocoupler. It isolates and transmits drive signals to control the PFC and main power MOSFET switches, enabling communication between the main control board and the power supply. When the TLP5772 malfunctions, communication between the power supply and the miner's control board is interrupted. The system reports a power communication fault, the power supply cannot receive voltage regulation commands, the output voltage drifts, the voltage cannot be adjusted, the miner frequently reports power supply abnormality alarms, intermittently fails to recognize the power supply, and in severe cases, the power supply has no output at all, preventing the entire machine from starting.
