The ZEUS MINING TAAS Hashboard Tester is an all-in-one diagnostic tool developed by Amnart Plonrit, CEO of Hidden Mines Co., Ltd. and Owner of Thailand’s Authorized AMTC Training Center, one of three in the World, specifically for Antminer ASIC miner technicians and repair centers of all sizes. It enables rapid fault localization by testing down to the individual chip level while simultaneously protecting both the hashboard and the tester itself during operation. Thanks to a cloud-based hashboard database and quick, easy firmware updates, it maintains compatibility with the latest miner models.
The TAAS tester is available in Basic, Pro, and Lifetime versions, along with various service packages, allowing you to choose the option that best fits your operational needs and budget. The Pro and Lifetime versions also include an additional "Health Check" feature for advanced analysis.
1. Rapid, automated diagnostics
It performs automatic chip polling to scan the entire hashboard and displays the number of detected chips in real time. If the detected chip count does not match the actual number, it indicates the presence of faulty chips, and the web interface marks the specific faulty chips in red.
2. Device display + web UI
TAAS test fixture test results can be viewed directly on the device's display screen, or via a web interface for in-depth fault analysis. If a faulty chip is detected, the interface clearly marks it in red.
3. In-depth testing of hashboard chip-level data: hash rate, temperature, and I2C
Verify the startup of logical cores, monitor the health status of each chip, check temperature sensors, and scan the I2C bus to confirm proper communication.
4. Circuit board and tester protection
Short-circuit detection and protection functions prevent damage to the hash board under repair and the tester itself. Power delivery to the hash board is regulated to prevent rapid temperature spikes during testing, and full manual control is available when needed.
1. Start Test
After connecting the hash board to the test fixture and powering it on, select this function to quickly troubleshoot the entire board. The web interface allows for a rapid assessment of the status of each ASIC chip; if a faulty chip is detected, the corresponding position indicator turns red. For certain hash boards, this function can also identify temperature sensor faults.
2. Health Check
This function completes the test and displays results within 4 seconds, identifying both damaged chips and those with substandard performance; this allows chips showing performance degradation to be detected before the hashboard is put into operation. A reading of 100% indicates a normal chip, while anything below 100% indicates an abnormal chip.
3. I2C Scan
Scans the hash board I2C bus for temperature sensors (NCT218/TMP75 located behind the multiplexer) and EEPROMs (addresses 0x50–0x57) and lists the addresses found; use this function before reading the EEPROM or if temperature readings yield no results.
4. Read Temp
Quickly reads the temperature of each zone/sensor for the selected hashboard model and displays the values on the web page. Green indicates a temperature <70℃; orange indicates 70–84℃; and red indicates ≥85℃ (signifying an abnormal temperature reading). "--" indicates that the sensor cannot be read; an I2C scan can be used to attempt a reading.
5. EEPROM
Reads the hash board EEPROM (24Cxx) and displays the data in a hexadecimal table; supports backing up data to a .bin file, as well as importing and writing data.
