The DTQ6400 is a 40V N-channel field effect transistor (MOSFET) chip located on the ASIC miner PSU, suitable for a variety of circuit scenarios that need to control the direction and on-off of current, such as power switch modules, motor drive modules, LED lighting drive modules, power inverter modules and current protection modules, etc. It can realize efficient power control, precise motor drive, stable operation of LED and overcurrent protection of circuit.

DTQ6400 chip function and fault symptoms:

The DTQ6400 is a 40V N-channel high-power MOSFET, primarily used in the rectification, main power switching, and synchronous freewheeling circuits of the Antminer APW series switching power supplies. It leverages its low on-resistance to handle high-power, high-frequency switching, and works with a PWM control chip to complete high-voltage AC rectification and bus voltage reduction, stably outputting a 12V main power supply. It is a core component for power conversion and current limiting protection in mining rigs. As the device ages and deteriorates, its internal resistance increases, gate leakage occurs, and the internal channel is damaged. This can lead to problems such as rapid MOSFET overheating, increased output voltage drop, drastically increased voltage ripple, a significant decrease in power supply load capacity, normal no-load operation but voltage drop and restart under load, a sharp drop in mining rig hashrate, and frequent overcurrent protection shutdowns.
