The next mayor of New York City expresses his support for CityCoin's NYCcoin plan

On November 10th, the next mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, said on Twitter that he supports CityCoin’s NYCcoin plan and hopes to rely on technology and innovation to promote the development of the city. Eric Adams won the election on November 2 and is expected to take office on January 1, 2022. After winning the election, Eric Adams expressed his desire to turn New York into a cryptocurrency-friendly city and compete with the city of Miami. Prior to this, Miami had established the first city cryptocurrency MiamiCoin (MIA) on the CityCoin platform. According to previous reports, the CityCoin platform plans to establish NYCCoin (NYC), an urban cryptocurrency for New York City. It is supported by Stacks and will give citizens the power to support, improve and plan New York City.
