Gemini executives: Bitcoin spot ETF may be approved by the SEC in 2022

2021/11/29

According to reports, Dave Abner, the global director of Gemini's business development department, said in an interview with CNBC that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) would finally approve a spot bitcoin ETF this year. He believes that the SEC has taken a meticulous attitude on the issue of cryptocurrencies and has not mistreated this new category of assets. Therefore, as the SEC gains more control over the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin ETF will be the perfect next step for the SEC.
