According to reports, the fintech startup CardCoins announced Bitcoin payments through the Lightning Network. CardCoins is a website that allows users to exchange prepaid gift cards for Bitcoin. The company said that this new option provides users a quick way to pay in bitcoins with cash. Additionally, CardCoins users can use cash to purchase prepaid gift cards in more than 80,000 stores in the United States.
