According to reports, publicly listed Bitcoin mining company Hut 8 said in a statement on Wednesday that it now has 5,518 BTC reserves, an increase of 97% from the end of 2020. The company mined an average of 8.9 BTC per day in December, and a total of 276 bitcoins were mined that month. Following its "hold" strategy, Hut 8 stated that it had deposited all bitcoins produced during this period in custody.
