Iran allows businesses to use cryptocurrencies for international settlements

Iran’s Central Bank and the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade have agreed to link the CBI crypto platform with an integrated trade system, allowing businesses to use cryptocurrencies to settle payments to foreign partners, the head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization reportedly said. The mechanism by which the system will operate is currently being finalized, with no further details.
