Bitcoin Hash Rate Hits All-Time High After Jack Dorsey Announces Block Is Building Mining System

Bitcoin hashrate hit a new all-time high after Jack Dorsey reportedly tweeted that Block was “officially building an open Bitcoin mining system.” However, Bitcoin’s hashrate fell 18.6% last week after Kazakhstan shut down the internet amid protest pressure. Additionally, Block announced today that it would list on the Australian Securities Exchange on January 20, making it the first crypto-related public company approved in Australia.
