Chile uses bitcoin to buy real estate for the first time

According to reports, the regional manager of real estate firm Remax, Yuval Ben Haym, announced that the "first" use of cryptocurrencies to buy real estate has occurred in Chile. Ben Haym informed that the purchase, which was completed in November last year, was for a client to acquire a piece of land in the southern Chilean city of Temuco. Ben Haym is optimistic about using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as real estate payment options and announced that they are open to accepting such currencies.
