Canadian mining company Bitfarms mined 298 BTC in February, a year-on-year increase of 67%

According to reports, Canadian miner Bitfarms released a data update report for February 2022. According to the report, Bitfarms’ online computing power in February was 2.3 EH/s, and 298 bitcoins were newly mined, increasing 67% over February 2021. All newly mined BTC is kept in escrow, and Bitfarms currently holds 4,883 BTC with a total value of about $210 million. Seven thousand four hundred new bitcoin miners with a pH of 740 have been received in February or are in transit. Bitfarms has moved 2,000 mining rigs to Paraguay, and its two mining farms in Quebec are about to start operations. Additionally, Bitfarms has started a strategic expansion in Argentina.
