Florida Governor: The State Will Accept Bitcoin for Taxes

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reportedly said he is taking steps to enable companies to pay taxes on cryptocurrencies. While signing the Financial Literacy Curriculum Act, DeSantis said he had instructed state agencies to prepare for crypto taxation. "We're working on it," DeSantis said, and I've told state agencies to figure out how we should be willing to accept if businesses want to pay Florida taxes in cryptocurrency. Additionally, DeSantis specifically stated that Florida is working on accepting bitcoin as a tax payment.
