According to reports, Andrey Lugovoi, deputy chairman of the Russian Duma, is convinced that Russia can become a leader in cryptocurrency mining. According to Lugovoi, the Russian cabinet is preparing a series of laws to legalize grey mining. He believes that due to climatic conditions, excess electricity, and low costs, Russia has the potential to become the number one cryptocurrency mining country in the world. Lugovoi also pointed out that today our country’s contribution to the global crypto market is already considerable, 12% of the total cryptocurrency volume is mined in Russia, and we are ranked third in the world among all countries. Earlier, Golden Finance reported that Russia is expected to introduce a bill to regulate cryptocurrencies in May.
