Emirates Plans to Support Bitcoin Payments, Add NFT Transactions to Website

According to reports, Emirates plans to adopt digital solutions such as blockchain, Metaverse, and cryptocurrencies and recruit new staff for the Metaverse and NFTs to develop applications to monitor customer demand. In addition, its chief operating officer, Adel Ahmed Al-Redha, revealed that Emirates plans to support bitcoin payments while adding NFT collectibles for transactions on its website. In earlier news, Emirates announced a new metaverse and NFT-related strategy in April, pledging to invest tens of millions of dollars.
