Swiss luxury watch maker TAG Heuer announces crypto payments support for U.S. online purchases

Swiss luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer has reportedly announced that all online purchases on its U.S. website will support cryptocurrency payments. In a press statement on May 19, TAG Heuer noted that the new crypto payment option, in partnership with BitPay, will support 12 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and five pegged to the U.S. dollar stable coins. In addition, U.S. customers will have no minimum spending limits and a maximum limit of $10,000 per transaction in the pilot program. The company emphasized that increasing customers using cryptocurrencies drove the new payment method.
