ESG research: Bitcoin mining could eliminate 0.15% of global warming by 2045

According to reports, Geneious CEO and ESG analyst Daniel Batten recently released a report showing that Bitcoin mining helps the environment and has the potential to eliminate 0.15% of global warming by 2045. Batten said the study results showed that "burning leaked methane using bitcoin mining could reduce global carbon dioxide emissions by 5.32%." And said bitcoin mining is the only way to sustain carbon emissions: "Reducing methane emissions is the fastest way to reduce global warming and complements strategies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions."
