Scott Conger, the mayor of Jackson, Tennessee, plans to start using cryptocurrency in the city. The mayor also stated that the city is exploring allowing its employees to choose to pay in cryptocurrency, conduct bitcoin mining, and keep it on the city’s balance sheet. It was previously reported that Miami has begun to allow its employees to pay in cryptocurrency.
