The adoption of cryptocurrencies as a “safe alternative” to cross-border payments is necessary, according to reports, on Tuesday, during a meeting on the strategy for the development of the domestic financial system, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The prime minister added that cryptocurrencies offer an excellent opportunity to ensure uninterrupted payments for imports and export.
