Restaurant franchise Subway is reportedly piloting bitcoin payments at three Subway locations in the German capital, Berlin. Over the past few months, Daniel Hinze, the owner of the Subway franchise in Berlin, has recorded more than 120 bitcoin transactions. Hinze encourages payments in Bitcoin by offering a 10% discount on all footlongs, meatball marinara, and cookies paid in BTC.
